Tome Time Episode 43: Turtles, Pullovers, and Pecans

Welcome to Tome Time Reading and Knitting podcast! You can find me on Ravelry, Twitter, Good Reads, and The Fold Line at MusingRunner and IG as tometimereadingandknitting. We also have a Tome Time group on Ravelry.

The book for this episode is Turtles All The Way Down by John Green.

Knitting content begins at 6:30. I have finished my Bayside Pullover by Hannah Fettig out of Twisted Owl Fiber Studios yarn. I plan on finishing my vanilla sock in the Johnny Jump Up colorway from H.A.Y. yarns and my Elphaba’s Revenge socks by Sarah Wilson out of Marianated Yarns in the Under the Sea colorway very soon. My next knitting project on the needles will be the Ramble shawl by Andrea Mowry as I would like to learn brioche and this looks like a good beginner’s project.

I plan on sewing a velvety body suit and a Deer and Doe Bleuet dress out of some cotton poplin with a circuit board print.

I talk a bit about attending an arts festival, running through a pecan plantation, and running a 5K with my son. Thanks for watching and LACES (Like and Comment Everyday, Subscribe).
