The first week of school always jumps on my like an elephant. An exciting, sparkly elephant, but still a massive, unwieldy routine change. A few scheduled runs went by the wayside in favor of paperwork and resting tired feet. I only managed 14 miles. Here is the plan for this week.
Monday – strength training and stretching
Tuesday – 7 x 400 meter repeats at a hard effort
Wednesday – 3 miles easy and strength training
Thursday – 3-4 miles with friends
Friday – REST
Saturday – 3 miles and strength training
Sunday – 8 miles
For a grand total of 20 magic miles!
